Many apps are designed for bigger screens. If you can’t see where to type your username, the Next or Log in button is off the screen, or everything looks too zoomed in, use Adjust Resolution.
Steps
Hold the physical Back button for 2 seconds. That’s the key with the back arrow, at the top right of the keypad.
Your recent apps screen opens. Press Adjust Resolution (bottom corner).
The screen zooms out. There are 3 sizes. Press Adjust Resolution again to cycle through them. It may take a few presses.
When you’re done, hold Back for 2 seconds again and press Reset Resolution to go back to normal.
We recommend staying on the normal size and only adjusting it for an app that needs it.
Everything suddenly got tiny, or half the screen is black?
Adjust Resolution was probably pressed by mistake. Hold Back for 2 seconds and press Reset Resolution.
The keyboard is too small
Open the keyboard’s settings (the gear icon on the keyboard) and change its height or size there.
Still can’t use the app?
Try all 3 sizes. If the app still can’t be used, it may not be compatible with the phone.
