My phone won't connect to Wi-Fi

Steps to try when your phone won't join a Wi-Fi network.

Steps

  1. Can’t type the password? Open the Kosher Qin Phone app → ☰ → Tools → Input Switcher, then tap the password box again.

  2. Forget and reconnect: go to Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi, tap the network, press Forget, then connect again and re-type the password carefully.

  3. Restart your phone and your router.

  4. Reset network settings: Settings → System → Reset → Reset network settings, then restart. This forgets saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth pairings, but doesn’t erase your data. Do not press “Factory reset”.

Does the network have a sign-in page?

Hotel, airport, and some school or yeshiva networks ask you to sign in on a web page. The phone has no browser, so these networks usually can’t be used. See Can I use hotel, airport or other Wi-Fi with a sign-in page?

Works on mobile data but not on Wi-Fi?

If apps or the app store work on mobile data but not on a particular Wi-Fi network, the network itself may be blocking something. Please don’t change the phone’s Private DNS setting. Contact us instead.

Still need help?

If the network works on other phones but not this one, even after a network reset, contact us through the support chat in the Kosher Qin Phone app or by email at [email protected]. Please include:

  • Your serial number (Settings → About → Model & Hardware → Serial Number)

  • A screenshot of the Wi-Fi page

  • A screenshot of Settings → About

  • Whether it’s a home network or a public one
