What's the difference between Uninstall and Remove? I deleted an app.

How to get an app back, and why you should be careful with "Remove".

Uninstall: the app stays in your store

When you uninstall an app (press and hold its icon on the home screen, or use Settings → Apps), it comes off the phone but stays in your app store. You can reinstall it yourself any time, for free.

To get it back: open the Kosher Qin Phone app → Apps → All (don’t search), find the app and tap Install.

Remove: the app comes off your phone’s list

When you remove an app in the app store (tap the app → ☰ → Remove), it is taken off your phone’s app list.

Once an app is removed, we can’t add it back. You’re welcome to submit a new app request ($5), but approval isn’t guaranteed.

Tip

If you just want an app off your phone for now, uninstall it. Only use Remove if you’re sure you never want the app again.

The app disappeared on its own

If an app vanished from your app store without you removing it, contact us through the support chat in the Kosher Qin Phone app or by email at [email protected] with your serial number and the app name.
