If an update downloads but still says “Update”, shows “cancelled”, or says “requires user action”, try these steps.
Try these steps, in order
Connect to Wi-Fi and try again. “Updates cancelled” usually means no Wi-Fi.
Update one app at a time, starting with the Kosher Qin Phone app itself (it shows at the top of the Updates tab).
Restart the phone and try again.
Go to Kosher Qin Phone app → ☰ → Tools → Refresh Session, then try again.
If you turned on Parental Controls, unblock installing there first, then update.
If the Kosher Qin Phone app itself won’t update:
Go to Settings → Accounts and remove every account until none are listed.
Hold the Back button for 2 seconds and press Clear All.
Restart the phone.
Open the Kosher Qin Phone app and update it.
After the update finishes, log back in to your accounts.
Logged-in accounts can stop the app from installing its own update.
Clear the app store’s cache: Settings → Apps & Notifications → See all apps → Kosher Qin Phone → Storage & Cache → Clear Cache. Restart the phone.
One of our own apps is stuck
If an update for one of our apps (like Weather or Qin Yid) is stuck, uninstall it and reinstall it from Apps → All → Made by Kosher Qin Phone. If it can’t be uninstalled, you can ignore the stuck update.
