“Update” can mean three different things on the Kosher Qin Phone. Knowing which one you need saves time.
Kind | What it updates | Where |
App updates | The Kosher Qin Phone app, our own apps, Google parts (Google Play Services, Android Auto) and all your other apps | Kosher Qin Phone app → Updates tab |
The 2.0 system upgrade | The phone’s whole system, for older phones that don’t have it yet | kosherqinphone.com/upgrade |
Refresh Session | The Kosher Qin Phone app’s login to our server | Kosher Qin Phone app → ☰ → Tools → Refresh Session |
“I updated, but nothing changed”
App updates only update apps. Changes to your phone’s app list or filter settings (like a newly approved app) are applied from our side. If you don’t see a change, restart the phone and check the full Apps → All list.
Can I upgrade to a newer Android version?
No. The phone runs Android 11 and can’t be upgraded to Android 12 or newer. The 2.0 upgrade updates our system, not the Android version.
