How do I move my contacts and texts from my old phone?

Bring your contacts over with Google Contacts or Bluetooth, and your texts with a backup app.

Contacts

Option 1: Google Contacts (recommended)

  1. On your old phone, sync your contacts to your Google account.

  2. On the Kosher Qin Phone, sign in to the same Google account and use Google Contacts.

  3. Make sure Contacts sync is on: Settings → Accounts → your Google account → Contacts sync.

Option 2: Bluetooth

  1. Pair the two phones by Bluetooth.

  2. In the old phone’s Contacts app, select all → Share → Bluetooth, and send them to the Kosher Qin Phone.

Apple devices generally don’t send files to Android phones by Bluetooth. From an iPhone, sync your contacts to a Google account instead.

Text messages

Use SMS Backup & Restore if it’s in your app store. If it isn’t, it would need to be requested like any other app.

Photos

Back up your photos to Google Photos on the old phone, then sign in to Google Photos on the Kosher Qin Phone.
