Registering links your phone’s serial number to your account. It is where you choose your phone’s apps and set your filter PIN. Until the phone is registered, the Kosher Qin Phone app has no apps to offer.
Before you start
Connect the phone to Wi-Fi (or make sure mobile data works).
Find your serial number: Settings → About → Model & Hardware → Serial Number.
Use a computer or another phone. The Kosher Qin Phone has no web browser.
Steps
Go to my.kosherqinphone.com.
Press Register (not “Manage”).
Enter the serial number exactly as it appears in Settings.
Enter the account email. If a parent manages the phone, use the parent’s email. All important emails go here, including ID verification links. If the site doesn’t recognize your email, try typing it in all lowercase.
Choose your apps (your app store level). This becomes your phone’s app list.
Set your filter PIN. If the phone is for a child, choose a code the child doesn’t know.
Back on the phone, open the Kosher Qin Phone app and press refresh if needed. Your apps appear in the Apps tab.
Install your apps one by one from the All list.
Good to know
If the website keeps spinning after “registration complete”, the registration probably finished. Check the phone.
Register the phone yourself so you choose the apps and the PIN.
mobile.kosherelectronics.com is not for registration. That site is only for our cellular plans.
