If Google Maps shows Open but nothing happens, won’t install, or says you already have it when you don’t, your phone is probably in “Android Auto without Maps” mode. In this mode, a stand-in helper is used instead of Google Maps.
Steps
Open the Kosher Qin Phone app.
Tap ☰ (top left) → Tools → Revert Android Auto Without Google Maps.
Wait a few seconds.
Go to the Apps tab, find Google Maps, and press Install or Open.
Don’t press Allow Android Auto Without Maps again while you want to use Google Maps.
Good to know
Google Maps Go doesn’t open on this phone. Use Google Maps or Waze.
Some pictures inside Google Maps can be blocked by the filter, but not all.

If the map stays blank even though GPS works, try uninstalling and reinstalling Google Maps, and set its Battery optimization to Not optimized.
