These steps are for phones where hotspot has already been turned on through a request. If you haven’t requested it yet, see How do I get mobile hotspot on my phone?
I can’t find the Hotspot tile
Restart your phone.
Swipe down from the top of the screen and look for the Hotspot tile.
Swipe sideways to see more tiles.
Tap the pencil (edit) icon to see all available tiles, and drag Hotspot into your tiles.
Hotspot is on, but my laptop or tablet has no internet
Make sure Data Saver is off: Settings → Network & internet → Data Saver.
Make sure your plan includes mobile data.
Hotspot disappeared after an update
Restart your phone. If it’s still missing, contact us.
